I understand what you are saying, but if we can be the best of the best, which I think we can, why not go that route. I don't want to be the best because everyone else is bad. I would love for the West to be the best 1/2 of the best conference in Country, which it could arguably be this year.

Nutt also commented that he was excited that Hardy wanted back in after the injury. In the past, he would not have done that, and the coaches were excited about his new enthusiasm, so that probably played a part in them letting him go back into the game.

The O line and Snead were off and it was obvious until the 4th when things finally started to click. Our offensive line has a lot of work to do, but if they get better each week, we will be fine. Even when ZERO was still coaching here, it was all LSU could do to beat us on their home field. I say we own them now for at least several years. The only thing worse than an LSU fan is a Losing LSU fan!

I heard this morning that it was definitely a knee issue. Not sure how severe, but it's his knee.

I agree as well that the game is different today than it was say 10 years or more back. They really don't play a lot of skilled basketball today. If you wanted to see skill and defense, go back and watch some of the games when Bob Weltlick(spelling?) was coaching. Now that was well coached basketbal...

Good post. You also now have to consider what LSU did to State too. LSU is the best team in the West by far, so the loss does not seem nearly as big to me now. This is going to be a tough year for us with the losses and our youth, but my guess is AK will win a few we don't expect and that the season...

Great story. Not to say I told you so either, but this is the same inside story I heard about O as well and it is why I don't give O much of the Credit for the success we had this year. Very few of our current stars performed well under O, so this kid could be lights out under Nutt. I say give him a chance and if he earns his keep, great. If not, we haven't lost anything anyway.

I just don't understand why people are so quick to judge someone when they don't know all the details. I got some good information on this today from a solid source.
