Shame to think what could have been if not for those OT losses in Nov/Dec. We'd be undefeated at home and in the tourney conversation. Probably wouldn't make it in because of inconsistency and inability to win on the road, but most of us would probably have a different perspective on this season.

I really hope Bielma keeps his job, since Ark would probably some of the same guys we would.

For perspective, if you take just the yardage opposing backs gained before we even touched them, we would not be in the top 50 in rush defense

Maybe he thought he was in line to succeed Wommack and now he sees that's not gonna happen. Maybe he's unsure of his role under a new DC. Maybe he thinks Lane will get a head job and wants to go with him.

If he can continue to show improved decision making and put his maturity issues another year in the background, I think it helps him a lot with NFL folks.
