I think they had to pay Freeze to keep him. Has he made bad decisions as a coach? Yes he has. His play calling has cost Ole Miss the A&M game two years in a row and losses to State. Hell I thought his weird offensive play calls hurt against Alabama. But he's done amazing things in recruiting and...

Little things like this suck for the school. The football program is actually getting some decent national attention; and things like this get mentioned just as much as the recruiting class does on tv and it's not good for the school.
