Re: Gridiron U has been cancelled
I applaud that decision. I didn't see much good coming out of it, and I saw plenty of distractions for what could be a great season.bii wrote:Ole Miss has backed out.

Also our own announcers stated that both lswho and olemiss will get trophies at hoover. The LSU radio guys pointed out s...

Re: Poll Update
Baseball America still has us at #2 behind Arizona...still... Collegiate Baseball still has us at #4 behind Arizona State, Arizona, and South Carolina...still... NCBWA releases their poll tomorrow or Wednesday. The first is exactly what I expected. I thought in CB we might move up to 3rd, but it do...

Personally, I...

i think pomeranz left after the 4th inning, but he struck out 8 and walked 3 if that's any precursor to what he will be able to accomplish, then nate baker better be ready to defend his sunday starting position Pomeranz was in a tight when he left. First and second, 1 away, and it looked like he wa...

Got there in the 2nd. Had to leave after 7th. Great offensive power. Pitching still suspect as we get into the pen and Irwin struggled through his start. Need to solidify that, but the offense will bail us out until the pitching is taken care of. Yes, the pitching was not as good but that's to be e...

Do NOT want to be #1. We need to play into it, not get it by the result of others losing. Plus some of our guys are young/new to the team. Don't need the pressure (and target) of being #1. #4 is a good place to be at this point in the season. Let #1 come up about mid-May. When others lose and you w...
