Re: this is why I think Freeze deserves the raise he got!
First, I support Freeze and agree with the pay raise. However, for the sake of discussion, let's assume that Bo Wallace had instead recovered that fumble against Mississippi State. Wouldn't the naysayers then all be in Freeze's corner? If so, should Freeze's career really be determined by one play? ...

Re: Can we noe ALL get off of our HC's back?
The main problem is simple lack of depth. The team wore down at the end of the season, and the ball didn't bounce our way against Mississippi State. That was a very tough loss, and has carried over to some members of this board. . I can't help but believe that negativity on this board hurts the prog...

Re: In Defense of Bo Wallace
I have heard (although unconfirmed) that Bo was still suffering some lingering effects of the flu against Mississippi State.

Re: Hate him or love him he is being paid now.
It's amazing that we're even having this discussion. What if Bo hadn't fumbled in OT against STATE, and we had done on to win the game. What would be your position then? Do you really think that the entire leadership and direction of Ole Miss football should change because of one unfortunate fumble?...

Hi Mark of the Tiger
Come on down to Oxford another time. we'll show you a great time--except (hopefully) the game itself. We're happy to have class fans like you in the football family.

HI to Nick Nosebleed.
I'm always impressed when fans of the opposing team post and don't talk trash.
Hope you have a great time in Oxford--except for the game of course.
Go Rebs. it should be a good one.

I agree with justblues. The Ole Miss-Arkansas game was scary. I don't think that Mississippi A & M (State) can beat the Hogs.

Focus game by game (meaning TROY) and keep winning. The rest will work itself out, if not this year, then the next. Win and keep the recruits.
Go Rebs!.

I'm nervous about all of 'em--even Troy (5-5, and fighting for a bowl). Once upon a time there was a team called Jacksonville State--well, you get the picture.
Take them one at a time, gentlemen!!

Re: Bowl updated predictions
Missouri is definitely a winnable game. Essentially, they've beaten Vandy (like us), a two loss Georgia team, and a three loss Florida team. Plus we're at home.
That said, take "em as they come. Focus on Arkansas, and the rest will work itself out.

Re: Tim Brando rips Miles, LSU fans after loss
I'm on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, which is overrun with LSU fans. I make it a point NOT to mention the game--and they don't bring it up with me. But we all know! That way we win with class. However, to the Rebel faithful, I can state that the win wasn't caused by LSU's three interceptions. Remember...

Re: So does this help recruiting....
A win certainly would help.
However, a loss to the now-no7 team in the country also helps. Simply assert that a few more top recruits, such as you (insert name0, will swing the program big-time.
That said, we really need a signature win to point to. The LSU game is huge.
