It is interesting about Herbstreit. I saw one article he wrote that placed Ole Miss and #5 preseason (maybe 4 months or so ago). I did, however, notice that a post on the Spirit public board showed how all the AP sportswriters voted in the Aug. 22 AP poll. Herbstreit voted Alabama #5 and Ole Miss #9...

By the way, we are only 7 votes below Va. Tech for the #7 spot and not a long way below Ohio State and bama. Also, Vandy got 3 votes in the AP poll but none in the coaches' poll.

Great articles. Coach Nutt sounds happy at Ole Miss----why not with that all out support by the Rebel Nation. If we can be spared key injuries and too many bad breaks at the critical moments, then 2009 looks like a great year could unfold for us.

While I like what the Sports Illustrated guy had to say in responding to a Bama supporter, when you read the entire article (written by a Bama supporter I might add) and then read the comments posted below the article, it is hard to come away without pure confirmation of the sheer arrogance of Bama ...
