Re: Freeze's contract
"On another point, don't forget Mullen is in year 6, not 3, with the same type rebuilding process." Yes, and he's delivered 2 Gator Bowl Bids, a Music City Bowl, and a Liberty Bowl. I view the Compass Bowl as a step behind the Liberty Bowl. We could still get to the Gator Bowl but need to...

Re: Sources: Hugh Freeze top target at Florida
Also, he is the head coach, and you just said he got out-coached in two of the most important games of the season. He shouldn't make more money until he starts out-coaching people in those games. IMO!!! He was not outcoached by Miles. He was stabbed in the back by "Bo"tus. He may have bee...

Re: Freeze's contract
I didn't see a lot of desire on the field Saturday. I saw empty and dead. Sorry, that's what it looked like to me. As much as I hate to say it, proud2breb is right. You want consistent improvement and for you team to be competitive throughout the season. We're not getting that right now. We lose th...

Re: Freeze's contract
We're not there, in talent or desire. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Completely disagree with the desire, part of that statement. We are getting there. It is not as fast as we thought, 3 weeks ago. But in Aug if you were told we would win 8 with a game to play most every fan would have taken it w...

Offer wasn't pulled, but it was changed to a grayshirt.lewindha wrote:where Mullen pulled an offer from a QB out of Texas that was committed and graduating early(16 days) to enroll at State so he could participate in Spring drills. Niiiice.
Not exactly the splash you want to make in the state of TX.

Pretty sure that was sarcasm, as "Bo has been problem" all year.CrossroadsReb wrote:You're kidding, right?lewindha wrote: 1) It was Bo's fault.
Needless to say, Bo was like a rubberband, the way he bounced back.

Re: random thoughts
I have seen this type of injury many times... he will be back on the field for spring practice easily running on it...this isn't career ending...I will bet he walks out of the hospital to go home... one crutch for a few weeks and boom...I would be willing to bet that if we were to somehow make the ...

Tunsil left early in the first. He just couldn't go. Robert just didn't seem the same. Cody played well though. Prewitt played as well as he could for a guy who could not raise his arms. You watch a few of his tackles & he was just throwing his body at the guy. He played w/ heart all night, tho...

Re: Ole Miss Still Has All Goals In Place
Bob, that's great... But we've been there & done that! Clearly the post was talking about our playoff hopes being in tact. We no longer control our own destiny, and if we win out, were 2nd best on the State, farther down in the SEC West. I find some fault. One of them had key turnovers late in ...

Re: random thoughts
I hate to lose. I know that there are others who hate to lose as much as I do. I suspect that some of the other posters here do, in fact. I’m not so sure that anyone hates to lose more than I do, though. I start with that preamble to put in perspective the following comments. If I could go back and...

Go back and look at the 3rd and 9 jump ball Coates caught.. We stunt and Haynes had a kill shot on Marshall, but he gets grabbed from behind on his hips.. Marshall threw the ball off his back foot, but if Haynes doesn't get held, Marshall would gotten smoked.. Then you look at the almost pick 6 by ...

Re: So painful
If we finish 8-4 after a 7-0 start it will be a massive disappointment. Going to some crappy bowl while watching state hoist the sec championship trophy in route to the national championship is unacceptable . Who gives a crap what State does? They do not define our success/failure. ^^^^^^^^^^^^ NOM...

I'm not convinced that Bo didn't think an under throw there was a good play. The situation clearly pointed for either airmailing the stadium or over throw for a jump ball to our Rec only.GtownRebel wrote: never was designed to be a short throw.
I'm just not convinced that the problem is mechanical.

Re: Analysis of last play by Ole Miss
He called the game scared, but he pretty much called it how Bo looked.. The delay of game was my biggest gripe about the entire sequence of events though. I think the delay was a response to trying to decide whether to take the FG or take a shot. I think the shot was our best chance, but that is my...

Re: Analysis of last play by Ole Miss
Here's my analysis of the end of the game: Freeze Fu*ked up on the previous play (delay of game) and needed Bo to save his ass by picking up a few more yards to get a higher percentage FG! Then Freeze threw Bo under the bus! Bo made a horrible decision...... Then freeze threw him under the bus.. It...
