Looking at some year end team stats, we were consistent, consistently bad.

Rankings of some teams of interest.

Offensive Rank:
Ark........#15
OM........#91, ouch
MSU......#113, big ouch
Who was last, none other than the media darlings Notre Dame, #119.

Defensive Rank:
Ark........#44
OM........#90, ouch again
MSU.......#25 wow, I knew they had a solid D but did not realize they were ranked that high.

just to add... SC was 57 in total defense so improvements on both sides of the ball (not a big surprise) but leaves me with a better feeling about next year.
Oh, I wish I was in the land of cotton... Old times they are not forgotten.

well, we were balanced anyway
done

WE'RE NUMBER 90 AND ONE HALF, WE'RE NUMBER 90 AND ONE HALF......

hmmm. just doesn't have the same ring....plus that would be one big foam finger to wear!!! 8)

We can joke about it now, because you know both numbers will improve next year...of that I am for once confident...for the first time in several years. I am not expecting SEC championships immediately or anything like that, but it is nice to know that we have a coach who at least has a clue about what it takes to win in the SEC....heck who even has a clue about what is involved in being a leader of a college football team.

I have never witnessed a loss that I thought was a good one, but a few years from now we may look back and thank our lucky stars that State came back on us in the fourth quarter....

I sure hope that Croom keeps insisting to run the West Coast Offense. that offense will never be successful unless he learns to adapt. Hell with the RB they have they would be more successful with a straight I formation.
