regarding future football scheduling.

I'm convinced it will involve giving up Boise next year to Georgia and taking a different opponent. Maybe...a neutral site later.

I hope that if that happens, we are compensated for it. Opening with Boise State was a major deal for us. Opening with BYU-- not so much. Surely we won't let Boise out of the contract easily. This is the same thing that happened to us last year and caused us to have to hurry and fill a hole in the schedule resulting in two FCS teams.

not so bad if true. Our 2012 RPI (I know that's not a term used in football but you know what I mean) will be off the charts.
done

So we traded a home game for a game in Jerry World.....thought we had to have home games for recruiting..would have loved to have seen Boise in Oxford, was already making plans for that trip...bummer!

Oh well, as long as we stay away from that blue field!

So, will we still play Boise in 2012 also? If so, that will be BSU and Texas in the same year. Nice! I would rather do that than play more J'ville State type teams.

nah.. it shapes up like this:

UM will play Texas in 2012 and 2013,
Boise in 2014
Clemson in 2015 and 2016 and
Georgia Tech in 2017 and 2018

Just make sure the team is ready next year! Don't want to pay BYU $900,000 to kick our AS$ at home!!

Well the Mormons have a tendency to do that. Beat Oklahoma at The Death Star (Cowboy Stadium). And they are independent next year after leaving the Mountain West, if I'm not mistaken.
