What going on with Treadwell and the Vikings

I really havent been paying attention but what is the story with Laquon Treadwell and the Vikings, I pulled up his stats and as of yesterday he has 1 catch for 15 yards. I read somewhere many weeks ago that the Vikings had issues with his route running but I never heard anything else about. Does anyone have better info on this?
I've seen several statements from Zimmer this year saying he has a lot to learn. Doesn't go in to much detail but says he has the physical skill but isn't picking up on certain things like route running as you mentioned. He also didn't dress out multiple times this year. I think he is dealing with a foot/ankle injury.
What it amounts to is our coaches didn't coach these players. Our players came in and then left without much improvement. Treadwell isn't a good route runner nor gets much separation. Robert takes off more plays than he gives effort to. Neither have seen the field much. So glad we got rid of a bunch of coaches that had no business being here.
