Matt Luke isn't the OL coach any more... 1000 yd rushers need good O line coaches. Bicknell has been pretty decent considering what he had to work with.

Two hours post-game, Bjork announces Charlie Strong as our new head football coach. Not sure which result hurts the most.

I don't get it... Why are people so high on Willie Taggart but down on Charlie Strong? If It is Strong, I am behind him 100%!
I’m not high on Taggart, but if it is Strong, I’m just not sure I can stomach it. If not Norvell, then I want Pruitt. One of the worst scenarios would be for Bjork to hire his buddy (Taggart) and us be stuck with him when Bjork is gone (which I think may be sooner than later)

Which may take Norvell out of play.

Man I hope we don’t wind up with Taggart (or Strong)!

Just saw the best game I have seen all year between Frost and Strong... A heavy weight slug fest.. Heck of a game.

It was an entertaining game, as was the Missouri Arkansas game. I would take Frost for sure, but he will land somewhere else.

Strong is the best candidate because he is defensive minded with spread concepts on offense. He’s a great recruiter. He has ties to the state of Florida and Texas. He would definitely dominant in-state recruiting here in Mississippi. I like Norvell, but he is a huge risk. I just don’t know if a 2 year sample size is enough to know how good of a coach he is.

Strong’s defense was horrible at Texas with top ranked talent. His defense and special teams yesterday was bad.

If we hire this man we will regret it within a year. And his wife hates Oxford

Not sure if norvell is an option for us. Looks like the big schools are on him hard.

South Florida’s defense has been really good this year.

He is a good defensive coach. Most Ole Miss fans need to realize having Strong even consider this job is great. It seems a lot are acting like all these “great” coaches are beating down Bjork’s door to come to Ole Miss. Too many other better options out there WITHOUT sanctions...not to mention we have plenty coming.

Norvell’s team is up 56-0 right now and will be playing for the AAC championship next week. Strong’s team will be an also ran in the same conference. I do think Arkansas may get Norvell. My next choice would be Pruitt. I’d just assume keep Luke if the choices are Taggart or Strong.
