Rebs get 1 in the 1st. Add 2 more runs in the second with a suicide squeeze to get one across the plate.

After 2, Rebs up 3-0.

REBS WIN GAME & SERIES!!!

Today Rebs win 7-1. Pomz shut'em down, only allowed 1 run through 8 innings. Cryer came in and sat them down 1,2,3.

Sweeeeeet.

It's good to get the series. That was a must. Now I find myself getting greedy and wanting the sweep. Somehow a win against LSU seems like two wins no matter what the sport...

Over 9,500 at the game this afternoon and there were more than that if you count the unofficial numbers on the hills outside the fences. Officially the second largest crowd in baseball history.

Eli and Patrick Willis both threw out a "first pitch" together before the game. Eli's made it to his catcher about a second before Willis' did. Little bit of heat outta Manning. LOL Of course all the Rebel fans were going crazy, but I also saw a lot of LSU fans grabbing cameras to get a picture of the SB QB and the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Last year the Bullpen Club committed to $50,000/year for 4 or 5 years to go toward construction. Today the Bullpen Club presented a check for $100,000. That's two years worth of money in one year! Also the Bullpen Club was officially renamed today to the Ernie LaBarge Bullpen Club in his memory. A great tribute to a great man.
GO REBELS!!!
