Rebs-Hogs DH

Due to an 80% chance of rain tomorrow, the Rebels and the Hogs will play a double-header this afternoon to finish up the series. First game starts about 4 with the second game about 7 tonight.

Bad news for the Rebels in the top of the 3nd. Back-to-back squeeze bunts scores 2 more for the Hogs and what's worse, no one out. Then a 3 run homer and the Hogs have taken control of this one. Still no one out.

Overbeck manages to get an RBI single to put the Rebels on the board in the 3rd.

Who's pitching? Is it defense? Errors? What the heck?!?!???!

Why does this team give me heart burn so much..........

And let me guess, their pitcher is horrible, 8.60 ERA on the season, 0-10 record and leads the league in BB and hits given up, but against us, he's having the game of his life, right? 0 ER, 10K's and no BB's. Let's put in a freshman to charge the mound and break his leg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's called them just getting the job done and getting some really lucky breaks. A strikeout to start the 3rd, but the ball got away from Basham to get the runner on 1st. A double to put runners at 2nd and 3rd. Two beautiful bunts brings home two runs. Then the 3 run shot.

On the other side, their pitcher has really struggled, but has played Houdini in all the innings.

They're guy Smalling has two homers in this game.
