Rebs bounced back from a rough weekend by getting all over Memphis. The bats started slow, but got cranked up well as the Rebs pounded out 10 hits and 10 runs to defeat the kitties 10-1. SOLID defense was the name of the game for the Rebs tonight as Basham had the only error recorded for the Rebels. But the defense was on tonight.
On the other side the kittens had 3 errors. They got 7 hits, but only 1 run to show for it. Bukvich went deep and went either just under or just over 100 pitches. Good outing for Buk and one of his longest. McKean and Broyles combined for 3.2 scoreless innings. Over all a good night on the hill.
Power led the charge at the plate going 2-5, 1 HR, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Overbeck also went 2-5 as did Ferguson. Just about every position player saw action tonight for the Rebels in the blowout.
Ole Miss returns home tomorrow night to take on Jackson State. Jackson State currently leads the SWAC. They are 33-15 overall.

I know this has been said before, but hopefully this last weekend has woken the guys up. I would like to see us play with an 'underdog' mentality the rest of the way.
