UK: Game Three

Rebs get the early lead 3-0.

Cody gives up 4 runs in the 4th for UK to take the lead 4-3. Bittle coming in.

It would help if one of our starting pitchers could have gotten out of the 4th this weekend. Cody went 3.2. Lance and Drew went 3.1 the past two days.

Should the Rebels lose this game, State would HAVE to beat Arkansas today for us to go to Hoover.

If you're near a radio you might want to turn it on because this could very possibly be the last game of the season for the Rebels...

Rebs take a 5-4 lead on a 2 RBI single. Their outfielder caught it, but it popped out of the glove and runners score from 1st and 2nd.

Don't think so.

Well, Rebels never say die. 5-5 in the top of the 10. Rebels had a chance with runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 down in the 9th, but nothin doing. UK had a chance in the bottom of the 9th but a play at the plate saved the day.

Bittle has now passed Pete Montrainous (sp--never could spell his name correctly) on the single season K list. 108 and counting...

Rebels load the bases then a HBP and a walk score two for the Rebs.

Bottom of the 11th and 1 out right now it's 7-5 Rebels...

BTW, Bittle is still on the hill.

7-5 after 11 innings and Final!

Bittle sets a new single game K career high with 10.

BTW, it's a good thing we won. Arkansas' up on State 7-2 in the 2nd. But doesn't matter now what happens there as neither team will be in Alabama Wednesday.

Not quite sure right off where we'll be Wednesday yet. We'll see.
