Rebs now considered a 3-seed at the Deland, FL regional (Stetson University). Regional also includes Miami and Manhattan.

Other highlights:
Only 3 SEC hosts, but all 3 are national seeds-#2 USC, #3 Vandy, and #6 UF. Down to 8 SEC teams projected in-USC, Vandy, UF, UGA, AU, OM, MSU, and ARK.

Obviously we have some work to do the next 4 weekends to shore up a spot in both Hoover and a regional. Plus side is our RPI is sure to rise a bit from 40, regardless of the actual results of the next few weekends (we play current RPI 2, 4, 27, and 17 12 times).

ETA: something to watch for: how will Arizona State's current issues with the NCAA affect the field. ASU is currently appealing sanctions stemming from the Pat Murphy years (including the year we played them in Tempe-retroactive OMAHA appearence for OM?). While in the appeal process, they are eligible for post-season play; if the NCAA upholds the sanctions prior to the tourney, they are ineligible for the post-season, which could seriously warp the field as they are a projected Nat'l seed.
