That was the final. Christian Trent went 8. Robison finished up. We are in good shape pitching wise.

Can win the series tonight,

Hopefully the bats stay hot in Game 2 tonight and we can take the series. I'm all for no drama on Sundays.

Rebs clinch the series, will go for sweep tomorrow. Pitching has been outstanding. Alabama has scored 1 earned run in 18 innings. Bramlett went 7 1/3 tonight with 9K.

Ballsy move by Bianco in game 1 letting Bortles swing away with 2 on and a 3-0 count. Bama pitcher had thrown 7 straight balls, so number 8 was bound to be grooved. Just goes to show that Bianco knows and trusts his players...much more than we do! Outstanding day of baseball...

Well...Bama took the final 13-4. We couldn't avoid the big inning...they put up 6 runs in the 7th inning. We should be okay from an RPI standpoint, need to take care of business with MSU during the midweek though to stay above .500.

Why did Mike pinch hit a freshman batting 100 for a hitter facing a pitcher for the third time? This with us down by 3 with 2 men on. Great winning 2 of 3, but sometimes he can make a move that just makes u shake your head. We still need to find another starter. We're 1-6 in game 3 in SEC play, being out scored 66-23.

I'm afraid if he hasn't found a 3rd starter by now...he won't.

Yeah I'm afraid you're right on that one. We've had guys look good at times, but no one step up to make you feel good about Game 3.

I know he's by far our best man out of the pen, but why not Weathersby? Didn't he pitch about 6-7 innings of relief in the extra innings game at Vandy? I still say he's our best pitcher...Bramlett is shaping up to be a solid #2.

Trent is our ace. Bramlett will be good with more and more experience. Could weathersby start? Sure, I would say so, but we need that experience in the bullpen. catch 22.
