First pitch today set for 4 p.m. I'll be driving down tomorrow for Game 2. Weather is supposed to be great today and tomorrow. Not sure about Sunday, but I cannot wait to get back to Swayze!

Rebs take Game 1 over FIU 9-2. There was a season opening record crowd of over 10,000 at the game. Not bad for mid-February...granted it was nearly 70 degrees.

Rebs going for the sweep today. Up 14-4 after 5. And oh yeah...they broke out some powder blue unis today. Interesting look...reminds me of the Cardinals back in the day.

Didn't like the powder blue unis. Not the idea of powder blues, just the execution in this case.

What I liked was the offense. We were predicted to have some strong bats. We'll find out about the pitching with Louisville coming to town next weekend. But good start.
