In typical fashion Memphis is up 3-0 headed to the bottom of the 2nd after a 3 run bomb in the top half of the inning. Hope the bats show up today.

Rebels now lead 7-6. Got some help from Memphis pitchers but I'll take it.

Good test for our guys. Down 6-0, we scored 7 in the third inning and never looked back. McArthur started and didn't really pitch all that bad. Their hits in the 2nd inning were mostly after 0-2 counts. We have too many good pitchers to lose these annoying midweek games anymore to Arkansas State, Memphis State and Southern. 2-0 so far.

Agreed. Great day for us. Whipped state in basketball tonight also. Glad we beat tiger high, good game Rebs.

They had a 98 RPI before the game started. Beating a top 100 is always good. We had an 8 before the game and a 4 afterward. This weekend should be good. It's a long travel from Oxford to Conway, SC, probably 10.5 hours by car, and a short turn around. Coastal hosted a Super a couple of years ago and has a pretty good RPI. Ball State, Coastal, Cincinnati, a sweep would be good. Definitely need a Saturday win.
I only like helmeted sports, hockey, baseball, football, war.

Yep...I drove down for the basketball game last night. The Pavilion was awesome as expected. And Moody absolutely destroyed MSU. Was fun to watch.

I hate that Moody will be gone after this season as we are supposedly getting some good recruits in on this next class.
