Saw them open for Ozzy during his "retirement" tour at the Pyramid back in '92. Layne Staley has severely sprained his ankle and was actually performing in a wheelchair on stage. Well, he actually spent most of the time writhing around on the ground, obviously stoned out of his mind, but still put on a heck of a show. They are probably one of my favorite "heavy" bands from the '90's, and "Dirt" is by far one of my favorite albums from the '90's.
I remember the retirement/no more tears tour for Ozzy. If you saw them in memphis, I was actually really close to going to that show(mom didn't think I was ready for that kind of stuff). But anyway, I have a friend that raved about the show AIC delivered in Nashville last week and I'm pretty pumped to be able to see them; not to mention, Chattanooga is a nice road trip with the buds.
