I have encountered a strange situation. Entering rather long numbers into Excel (eg. credit card numbers) I've have a situation where the last few digits are accepted as Zeros no matter what I type. For example, 123456789 becomes 123450000 I have tried reformatting the cells to accept the number, but nothing has worked. I have never had this problem. Any ideas!

Try setting it as text, that should allow you to put the numbers as typed.

That worked. I should have thought of it. Thanks.
