Oher was another guy who could have potentially benefited from Alabama’s Andre Smith faltering, but his numbers were slightly disappointing. Oher had only 21 reps at 225 pounds (less than both Jason Smith and Eugene Monroe, who both have similar body measurements) and ran a pedestrian 5.37 to 5.41 in the 40-yard dash. Oher will still carry a first-round grade, but it’s likely to be more toward the middle of the round than in the top 10, which was a possibility entering the week.
been reading that his stock has been dropping..I guess this didn't help...
Oh well.

I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. He is immortal, not because he alone among creatures has an inexhaustible voice, but because he has a soul, a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance.
Perhaps it is for the best if he 's drafted near the middle of the round, He would have a bettter shot a playing with a GOOD team or a potential contender, as opposed to ending up on a sucky team like Archie did.

I know it's horrible to hope that our guys go lower, but it's still the first round and I agree with you. I'd much rather see Oher go to a good team. Even better would be a regional team where we could see him play on Sundays.
you are not referring to the UT Titans. I abhor that team...
On the other hand, The 'Caints I do like. But they caint.
So I would rather see him somewhere where they can.

Oh no, def not the Titans. I'm with ya on that one. Can't stand them!
True about the Saints.
I'm thinking more selfishly...like the Colts. We get most of their games and it would help my team out!
INdy does not need a left tackle. They will need a Center unless they can sign Saturday. INdy also could use some defensive players. The Saints wouldn't draft him either because they are in need of CB.

Given their injury situation the last couple of years, I wouldn't rule out Indy taking a LT.
I hate to say this, but Oher may be the one instance where staying one more year may have cost him because a couple of the other tackles rose above him this year.

You may be correct, but we all heard how he got better fundamentally as well in overall physical strength this year under the Markuson/Decker duo. Imagine how far he may have dropped last year at the combine w/o that year of coaching/strength training.

As a A Colts fan, we need guards. Both were rooks last yr and if we dont sign Saturday (we will) Pollak will move to C. That will make the gap at G. T Ugoh, (former Nutt player) was hurt last yr but he will be at LT and Charlie Johnson at right. Now, Peria seems to be a good fit. We lost Quinn Pitcock and kicked Ed Johnson of the team in the last year. We have no one at Dt but Eric Foster (UT) and Reid, and I believe Peria would be perfect alongside Dwight. Mike Wallace would be nice, bc we have no depth. Does anyone know who the COlts 3rd WR is? Devin Aromoshadu (AU). My poiny is made. M Wallace would be a nice 3rd rd pick.

I was just giving a Colts shout-out, not necessarily meaning he should go there. Just saying as a Colts fan I would be happy, but there are other positions needed more desperately in the draft.

Isn't Anthony Gonzalez (sic) out of the Ohio State University, the third WR? If that is the case, and they do sign Harrison for another season (which according to ESPN is somewhere in the 50-50 range) seems to me the Colts are actually doing okay at that position.

Yeah, but if Harrison doesnt come back we dont have a #3 WR and Harrison, if he does stay, will be gone in the next few years.
