Mike Wallace to Pittsburgh

I don't know if he'll even play there.
Those recievers are already so good.

I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. He is immortal, not because he alone among creatures has an inexhaustible voice, but because he has a soul, a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance.

With 4.33 speed, kickoff/punt returner is an option.dgmcdowe wrote:I don't know if he'll even play there.

I know he returned well, and believe me, I love mike...
But dropping the ball every time it lands in your hands on a kickoff is unacceptable in the NFL.

Being a huge Steelers fan, thought I would point out that Nate Washington is a free agent this year, and is not expected to be back. This could open the door for Wallace a little sooner. He could be the number 3 or 4 WR there. The good thing is that he has access to a good mentor in Hines Ward, not necessarily the cleanest cut player on the field, but a hard worker, and no baggage off the field. This is one rebel that I will pull for to do well in the NFL...well, as long as he is playing for Pittsburgh anyway....
This is my word, and as such is beyond contestation.

Nate Washington is no longer a free agent. He is now a Tennessee Titan. If Wallace works hard, and improves he could definately take Washington's place as the deep threat play maker.
I talked to Mike on Facebook last night. He said he's excited to be a Steeler, and when I asked him if he'd take 'em to another championship next year, he said "I hope so"
It was a short conversation, but he seemed excited to be working with Hines Ward.

Who wouldn't be excited to a team that just about makes the playoffs every year....
