Freshmen reported to campus today!

Our freshmen reported to olemiss today to begin fall camp and coach Nutt said that they look good but is also realistic about the fact that although some participated in spring drills, most aren't in tip top shape yet. Coach Nutt then went on to say that he is going to give our new freshmen qb Raymond Cotton a package that will allow him to play in wild rebel formation. I think this is great because cotton has a cannon and he is also big and fast so if we can save dexter a few snaps by putting someone in who can throw and run the ball, we will just have another weapon for our high scoring offense. Coach also said that patterson may be included in wild rebel as well.

Don't know about Marry but I'm shocked Cotton won't be redshirted. Thrilled to have him pop up in the wild rebel though.

He's the odd man out, if Tig makes it in. Shame..he'll probably go somewhere else it that happens.

This kid is smart enough to get into Duke and we prefer Tig?

At one point, both Rivals and Scout were reporting that Marry was aware of the scholarship numbers and the possibility that he would be the odd man out. Based upon same, both sites reported that Marry was slated to go to either a prep school or JUCO for one year.

The other thing is that one, if not both, sites reported that the JA kicker was not a scholarship player, however that was too work out under the rules.
