Mccluster has to get the ball more often. Have no idea who is responsible for that but it was unacceptable.LCW wrote:I felt sick last night and feel sick today. Just a very low point...hard day to be an Ole Miss fan.
But, all we can do it pick it up and prepare for Vandy.
The play calling was horrible IMHO...and it took 4 quarters to figure out that we have this player called Dexter McCluster that...why, yes...yes, he can....make a difference in a game. Too late, tho.

The west can still be won, maybe this can be turned into a good thing. Now we have nothing to prove, the weight is OFF our shoulders and we can just go out and play hard and WIN
In Round 1 of the SEC vs. the Big 12, now known nationally as the Flag Football League, Texas Tech did nothing against Ole Miss to dispel the national perception that Big 12 teams couldn't stop their mail, much less an ambulatory offense.

I'm sure this is what Sowell meant when he said what he said, but that wasn't a wise move to even SAY it to a reporter.

Well maybe these kids couldn't handle the expectations and the weight, and that's what made them make these careless mistakes. Now that pressure and expectations are gone and now they can play.

Well to be perfectly honest, last time I threw my toes up like this it was Cut's last year as head coach. We came off a Cotton Bowl and Spur was lookin good. The best offensive play we had in the book they never used. It was the quick kick. The only difference is I still feel this coaching crew can turn it around. They have more tools than Cut did and through the years it wasn't that Nutt lost a game he shouldn't it was that he always came on stronger as the year went. They have ten days to make us think Bama isn't invincible. There is no room for hollywood antics or bad girl friends. They got to reestablish a credibility they earned last year one play at a time. I still believe they can do it but they really got to focus.
