Hey......guys it's not my intent to start anything with any of you. I know you adore your team as much as I do mine. But......as I'm sure you've heard from so many of my breteren, HDN is a mediocre coach at best and his teams will always aspire to that standard. Call me on it; but if he can't do any better with Coach O's talent than what he's doing now, you will never again have another chance under his watch. I wish Ole Miss the best this season with the exception of Oct 24th. Im not on your board to flame or do anything but state what's obvious to me and that is HDN is a decent HS Coach at best and nothing more. I wish you well and good luck the rest of the way.

While I understand what you're saying, this one falls solely on the shoulders of Snead. 16% passing in the first half and 30whatever% for the game has less to do with coaching and more with individual performance.

Snead looked horrible today...but let's be honest, he has looked pretty mediocre all year. Is Nutt and his staff to blame for his poor showing this year?

I am beginning to think the pigs' fans may have been right.

Looking at what Gus Malzahn has done at Tulsa and Auburn, it does not look like the offense that was run while he was at Arkie. Arkie was known for struggling in the passing game while Coach Nutt was there.

Our offense does not look anything like what Kent Austin is known for running, Snead has regressed, and we have no passing game. I am beginning to think Coach Nutt deserves more blame than Snead or Coach Austin.

We just have to play sharper and like we are capable. We have faced the two best d's on our schedule. Our offense will get better from here on. The only real concern is whether or not our team's menatility will be right. With so much pressure on winning the west, I just hope Nutt can convince this team that the rest of the season still matters. We can beat Arkansas, Auburn, UT, LSU and State. We just have to keep our chins up and play intense.

Snead has all the talent in the world and I look for this all to turn around. We are not going to look this horrible the rest of the year because of the talent of Alabama's defense, but what it we can't get the offense going even against inferior defenses?

That's what bothers me the most. Snead had open receivers waving their arms many times tonight & he'd throw into double coverage for a pick! I don't see how that's coaching or not???

Nutt lets him pass. The receivers were open at times. Nutt can't make them pitch and catch if they don't want to do it.

My brother in law who lives in Little Rock, Ak, and was one of those on the band wagon to get rid of Nutt when he was with the Hogs, swears up and down that Ken Austin is not calling the offence play. Nutt is calling them. When NUTT WAS HIRED, my brother in law called and told me with in 2 years we will be tired of Nutt and his brother. I don’t know who is calling the offence plays, but if Snead can’t do the job, we have 3 other quarterbacks on scholar ship that can probably do a better job.

Snead can’t hit the short passes; he is throwing into double coverage and sometimes in triple coverage. 8 interceptions in the last 2 ball games, he is our opponents 12 player. Snead should be pulled and replaced for the next game, or until he can play in the league once again. Snead would have never played at Florida, and after watching Texas last night, he would have never played at Texas. In the last 2 ball games 8 interceptions. That my friend is stupid!!!! Our defense did a wonderful job, that’s the only bright side to Ole Miss Football right now. Nutt needs to wake up, smell the coffee, and give Billy Joe Tapp or one of the other 2 quaterbacks all the work this week in practice, put Snead on the bench, until he can prove he can play. We still have a lot of football ahead, but unless some changes on offence are made, it’s going to be a long season, and we will be sitting home for the holidays.
