atleast until we can get rid of Austin and hire someone in that can compete on this level. I have been completely dissatisfied with his performance and think alot of the is on our OC. Our defense is doing fine and not many complaints there
I Thank you.

Wouldn't matter who we had for oc, because Snead can't even throw an accurate 5 yard pass, he is scared and shaky as hell.

The head coach has the right to override a play at anytime. I think we just got beat up by Bama. I would like to see more formations and execution. I feel like our playbook is too basic right now.

Maybe Jevan needs to learn how to read a defense and check down. Maybe call a play at the line.

Alabama made us (Arkansas) look the same way. They are that good and if a team is not ready to be hit then they will scare you (Snead and receivers). By the way, I watched the game and Houston was calling the plays.

I have been curious and havent heard any confirmation on who is actually calling these high school gameplans we have been running... Its like they are seeing something on tape and saying, "well I know this play will work against that". We get into a game, it doesnt work and we wont stop doing it. I dont know what the "gameplan" was on offense yesterday. I am not even sure there was one.

Everything will be ok if Snead just gets his head out of his *beep*. I would say the play calling also needs some work, but this team still has a lot of potential and just needs to get the confidence they had at the end of last year.

I am an Arkie....and so far I have been impressed with the way most of you are evaluating what is going on with your team.

I thought all of you on this board were blind nutt lovers....but just readin through the post on here it is easy to see that is not true.

I have been shocked at the poor play of Snead so far this year....last year he was the biggest reason the team turned it on at the end of the year....something weird is going on here.

That's the problem with you slow learning pigs. You assume that when we ban you guys over here for trashing Nutt all of the time that it's b/c we drank the kool-aid when actually it's because y'all sound like a broken record and act like Lsux fans with your posts. This is an Ole Miss board and we don't care to let you come over here and trash him and beat a dead horse. That is for us to do if we so choose.

You are welcome here as long as you play by our rules. Respect the house that you are visiting and you will be respected in return.

I am not an Ole Miss fan by and large but I did pull for you guys in the Cotton Bowl last year as I will this year if you make it to a bowl game....I seriously never cared about Nutt and his coaching abilities but I live only about 2 hours from Oxford and I have nothing against Ole Miss and wish them the best except when they play the Hogs or A STATE (lol). Looks to me that there is still plenty of football left and the big boys are out of the way....LSU did not look very good this week so second is still up in the air.

My brother in law who lives in Little Rock, Ak, and was one of those on the band wagon to get rid of Nutt when he was with the Hogs, swears up and down that Ken Austin is not calling the offence play. Nutt is calling them, just like he did when NUTT WAS WITH THE HOGGS. When NUTT WAS HIRED, my brother in law called and told me with in 2 years we will be tired of Nutt and his brother. I don’t know who is calling the offence plays, but if Snead can’t do the job, we have 3 other quarterbacks on scholar ship that can probably do a better job.

I am not trashing your coach. But Kent Austin is not the problem.

Nutt IS calling the plays. He always did at Arkansas. With Gus, David Lee,Joe Ferguson, and all the other OCs he had. Nutt took input from them but he called the plays.

Broyles had to go.....I put the blame on him.

Anyway there are a bunch of good old boy networks alive and well in college football coaching.

I have a feeling that Petrino is using the Hogs for a stepping stone.

Nutt is slick though.....he will pull out a big game and win the majority of his ball games and if Ole Miss is happy with that....which I am not saying they shouldn't be...then all is good in the world.

Just get ready for Roller Coaster rides....that is the best way I can describe his stint at Arkansas,

Dude coach nutt is calling the plays! Coach Nutt has the authority to change any play and he is doing that as the games have gone along. Last year Nutt let Austin call a bulk of the plays and he used Austins coaching style to spread the field and wear down defenses. This year you can tell we are running the same style of offense that Nutt ran at arkansas, very vanilla with no trickery or finesse. What needs to happen to make our offense go like last year is give Austin more freedom in the play calling.
