I'm not flaming you but I think your troubles this past saturday were mostly attributed to facing the stoutest defense you've faced so far this year and the Bama D was able to totally disrupt your offense, The Rebel D was undoubtedly the best Bama has faced all year, In the red zone you guys were awesome on D. I think you guys will easily go bowling and the only game facing you that will be maybe a loss will be LSU and if ya'll start clicking on all cylinders LSU will go down. Ole Miss has a classy bunch of fans for the most part and I'll be pulling for you the rest of the way, Snead will shine against Arkansas' D and ya'll have good enough D to shut down the Hogs offense. Roll Tide and Go Rebs.

Bama is ridiculous on defense. But a lot of our troubles was the fact that our qb can't throw a 5 yard swing pass. There were opportunities to move the ball for us, but horrific qb play wouldn't allow it.

Bama learned last year what Snead can do if you let him sit in the pocket with plenty of time, he'll make a good D look awful. Put pressure on him and he's not so good.

Arkansas' defense will not be ran over by Ole Miss this year unless something drastic takes place. I have watched all of Ole Miss's games this year and I can tell you now that Arkansas could very well run up the score on the rebels. Unlike Ole Miss, Arkansas is progressing as the year goes forward.

BAMA's Defense is STOUT.....I would not be counting any victories if I was either Arkansas or Ole Miss....one game at a time.

Arkansas isn't good enough to run the score up on an SEC team. If the Hogs beat Ole Miss its because the Rebels have their heads down. Arkansas will be hard pressed to win 7 games this year.

Lol. I watched the Auburn game. The Tigers were never there mentally just like the Rebels offense. UA took advantage of a team that doesn't have much of a defense, a home game and an 11am start. Its not running up the score when the other team doesn't try to stop you. We've seen what happens when the Hogs play against a good defense. We'll see again when they come to Oxford.

Actually I feel silly now for even attempting to talk about this with you. I just realized what I was doing.

Back to standard Hog response:

You are right. Nutt is a terrible coach. We are a terrible program. Petrino is far superior and the Razorbacks will win the SEC this year and every year they wish too.

Not is not terrible, IMO. He's a "run first" coach. If that's bad or not is left to your perception. I do think it will be an interesting match up when the Rebs and the Hogs meet. I do agree that if Ole Miss plays D the way they did Saturday, it's going to be really hard for Arkansas to pull it out.

Now, if your offense would have performed as well as your defense did, you would have sure made it much harder on Alabama.

But yes. Alabama's offense is brutal. Saban has put together a heck of a defensive group.

Good to see you, Norcal. . . . . (PiggyBack here). The Ole Miss game makes me more than a little nervous. I will be interested to see how Ole Miss' offense bounces back after the 'Bama game.

I think it's hard to judge any Offense by how they play against 'bama. As I said in another thread, Ryan Mallett is perhaps the greatest QB in AR history and the 'Bama D made him look pedestrian.

Alabama is the measuring stick this year. They hit you harder and are faster than any other including Florida. They made us a better team, either your kids learn from it or shrink from it. Our kids learned from it but how long it will last is up to them. We will find out this week in the swamp.[/b]

I will point out to you that Alabama was averaging over 35 points a game prior to Ole Miss...and scored 22 with many of those result from stupid turnovers.... Interceptions, fumbles, and blocked punts.... 5 turnovers and one blocked punt.....and they scored 22.

You Arkansas fans are a hoot and ALWAYS overstate your ability. While I think your team is much improved and capable to beating Ole Miss....running up the score seems far fetch to me.

Where did you get running up the score? Ole Miss just needs an offense. We will be very lucky even with your slowed down attack to get out of there with a victory. We may be a hoot but I would never try to overstate our ability. Need I remind you that you are in the SEC?
Everybody has ability to win or get beat. Just beat LSU. I work with a guy who is an LSU fan and he is bragging about what they are going to do to you guys. He says that LSU does not have a rivalry with the Hogs even though we have beat them 3 out of the last 4 years.
