Ole Miss vs Arkansas
Moderator: Rebel Security
I actually think that these two teams match up very well. It will be their strength against ours and their weakness against ours. As many have said, the team that wins will be the one that wants it more. We have one of the best pass defenses in the nation and Arkansas has one of the best pass offenses. On the other side of the ball, our offense has struggled this year as has Arkansas's defense. Arkansas has shown some signs of life on defense the last couple of games but they still have a way to go. We have yet to play four quarters of good football on a single Saturday. I think that this game is on paper a toss up. Ole Miss has better talent but has yet to really put it all together against a good team. I believe that the deciding factors will be that the game is in Oxford and Arkansas had a very emotional close loss last week. I believe that this game goes to the Rebs.

Arkansas did play a very good Florida team close... and I think that they overexteded (as we did last year against Florida) and will be down this weekend. I was referring to his prediction that Arkansas will score 45 against us. I guess anything is possible but it is doubtful that Arkansas is going to score 45 against us when the best team in the nation (Alabama) could only manage one touchdown.

That was true while he was at Arkansas, however, Nutt did break that 10 year streak of following his first conference loss with another last year by winning the Florida game after the first loss to Vanderbilt and again this year by beating Vanderbilt after losing the opener to South Carolina.Nutt will once again lose his 2nd conference game in a row. He has done it for 11 straight years, don't think this year will be any different.
I am often wont to post with tongue firmly ensconced in cheek. Absolutely no disrespect is intended by this admittedly audacious mode of converse. My sole intention is the colorful expression of a unique perspective via an alternative avenue of communicative employment. Should my verbose inclination be taken amiss, fomenting an outpouring of disgruntled umbrage, retribution and castigation, I shall, of course, cease and desist forthwith. There is something to be said for the simple effectiveness of monosyllable linguistics, of course; but I generally conscientiously refrain from such unsophisticated banter. This is a personal choice.
