Ah, Big Deal. I see you've found a home.BigDeal wrote:I believe Snead is back and the defense will be one of the toughest Arkansas will see all year. That and Arkansas coming off a game where they played their hearts out will experience a big emotional downturn.
Prediction :
Ole Miss 45
Arkansas 10

Agreed, Snead is regressing........ and last week was an aberation against a very bad team.vicksburgrebel wrote:38-10 Arkansas. Our rebels dont have a offense.
Arkansas rolls this weekend and destroys what is left of the very fragile psyche of one Jevan Snead.

He did indeed do it last year, in typical Nutt fashion.....AR~Rebel wrote:That was true while he was at Arkansas, however, Nutt did break that 10 year streak of following his first conference loss with another last year by winning the Florida game after the first loss to Vanderbilt and again this year by beating Vanderbilt after losing the opener to South Carolina.Nutt will once again lose his 2nd conference game in a row. He has done it for 11 straight years, don't think this year will be any different.
He followed up the HUGE upset in the swamp with a loss at home to South Carolina and then at Alabama in back to back SEC games
offense certainly has some problems, but to say that we have "no offense" is nothing but hyperbole. People who say that base it on two games against two of the best defenses in the conference. This Saturday we go against the worst defense in the conference. If you look at the only common opponent, Alabama, Arkansas apparently has "no offense" either. In fact, despite our struggles, we did better against Alabama than Arkansas did. Neither team showed anything on offense but at least Ole Miss fielded a defense against Alabama. These teams match up well. It should be a good game. With 19-23 year old kids, each week is different and each week is an adventure. I don't see either team running away with it. I could be wrong, because things happen, but I find it very hard to believe that Arkansas is going to score more against Ole Miss's defense than the best team in the nation did. Those predicting 31 and 44 points against us apparently have never seen Ole Miss play.

has fans who have no basis in reality. The reality is that these teams match up well and both teams are looking for a signature win to hang their hat on. I find it hard to believe that ole miss will score in the 40's because their offense has some problems and I find it hard to believe that arkansas will score in the 40's because ole miss's defense has yet to give up more than 22 and that was against the best team in the country. Anything can happen, and I've certainly seen stranger things happen, but anyone who predicts that either team will score in the 40's is not basing it on anything realistic and if they get it right, it's just pure chance. There is nothing that has happened on the football field so far this year that would lead a reasonable person to believe that Ole Miss or Arkansas will score in the 40's. It should be a good game based on what has happened to this point. I happen to believe that Ole Miss will win. That belief is based in part on personal bias (and neverending hope), but also has basis in the fact that it is in Oxford and that Arkansas played their hearts out last week and it is hard to come back after such an emotional game (look at ole miss after florida last year).

just Arkansas? If we are "just Arkansas" what does that make Ole Miss? You guys are the only west team never to play in the SEC championship game. Your program is a joke. Arkansas is going to mop the floor this weekend and remind you guys that you are "just Ole Miss"Chucky_38 wrote: After all, from our point of view, its just Arkansas.

wrong about what? You guys haven't scored any points all year. You struggled against Memphis for Heavens sake. This isn't 2008, Michael Oher and Wallace are gone and so is Sneads confidenceLCW wrote:I think you're wrong. Close game but we walk out winners.vicksburgrebel wrote:38-10 Arkansas. hahahaha and Ole Miss doesn't? It is like you guys have totally forgotten that you arehistorically the 10th best program in te SEC! THis board is comedyBigDeal wrote:Another thing to consider is Arkansas has a history of losing back to back SEC games. has to wonder if you've even watched a football game this year. You certainly know nothing about Ole Miss, who is averaging over 30 points a game. And if you consider whipping a team 45-14 "struggling" then I guess that you guys "struggled" against Missouri State
