There is absolutely NOTHING classless about saluting your own coach on your own field!
Look at the stats today.Houston Nutt ball (effective running supported by the pass and good defense) beats the pass happy offense that Hawg fans so yearned for...just about every time.
I do agree the personal foul call was borderline, but by far the better team and better coached team won this game today.

You are right I have not done it at all on this. I give a team their due if they earn it and your team did.
Just because I talk about class and some Arky fans show little doesn't mean Ole Miss fans have the right to do the same.

Just act classy regardless of what the other side does. I never came over here and said anything negative toward Houston or Ole Miss fans. I will not do that. That is not the kind of fan I am. I just get tired of fans thinking that if they other teams fan are not being classy it give you the right to be the same.

The chant was not classless, it was in support of our coach. Classless is planes with banners and cellphone records. Good game anyway. WE WON.
Yes it was in support of your coach. but I am sure there were plenty of fans that started that chat because of some people on this board from Arkansas. It was more a little of both to me.
and yes I think the banners and cellphone records were classless and I wish the people that did those would go be a fan of some other team. I get tired of armchair coaches that say the day after the game. 'Well why did he call that play' etc. etc. You know what I mean.
I would be glad to come to Ole Miss and sit with any fan of OM whether it was an OM-Ark game or not. ALL SEC fans are great and I love SEC football.

Nutt left Arkansas because the majority of the fans there didn't want him there. He came to Ole Miss, and our fan base is glad to have him...just showing him a little love after a HUGE SEC win is not classless.

Okay I am not here to talk about Houston. OM was very prepared today for us and we were not able to adjust.

Just read some posts over at Hogville and I give up on Arkansas fans as sensible. Granted I don't watch Arkansas every week, but there are some folks over there saying Mallett should be benched.
I saw a very good QB deliver good passes that were flat out dropped. Sure he made a few bad passes, but no QB throws every pass perfectly. And the fact that he ran for his life a lot. I say he's pretty good. His receivers let him down today.

I agree. Mallet has a great arm and his accuracy was there today. His receivers let him down. Our defense pressured him all day and he never seemed rattled which is a sign of a very composed player. He will have success if his receivers can help deliver.

I do apologize for the rude fans we have just like every school has. Again I dont think what some of our fans have done does not warrant it return. I would respect you more if you did not.
But as I said I want to move past Houston Nutt. I tried to propose that on Hogville and I got some rather harsh words from my fellow Arkansas fans. I am trying to get past it but the chant and my own fans will not move on.
I'm glad that some UA fans are ready to move on...and I'm sure you were called a "Nuthugger" more than a few times at Hogville.
We were nearly surrounded by Hog fans at the game. The ones we talked to respected Coach Nutt and wished the best for him at Ole Miss. As much as I don't like being one of "those fans", when the Hog fans booed Coach Nutt during his intro on the jumbotron, I just couldn't stand it...I had to stand up, face the UA fans in Section R, and yell "GET OVER IT!!!". And the funny part was that a lot of them just laughed and nodded in agreement.
