ETA: Hearing Brandt of CL fame now reporting it as well.

Haven't heard, but that would be terrible news for the Rebels!

Looks like his college career is likely over. Looks like a broken wrist.

Wish him well. As far as us missing him, he hasn't been nearly as much of a factor as I thought he would. I am afraid he has lost some considerable coin this year.

That's the last thing we need. The defense will miss him and the fans will miss him. Huge blow to the team. Who's his back- up?

That really sux. I read an article right after I first saw this topic listing Hardy as active for the Tennessee game. Looks like the news just really broke today. Greg hasn't played many downs this season, but he's a great athelete. I'm sure the other players will step up though.

I hate to hear this for the young man. It seems that injuries have plagued him for some time now. I hope that doesn't hurt him to much with the NFL scouts.

Tillman and Lockett start, with Hardy and Stephens in the next line. Expect to see Gerald Rivers play a bit.

It will hurt him, but the real kicker that will keep him from being picked early in the draft is his slacker attitude. The pros know that he takes plays off and is less than intense so I bet a lot of teams will pass. His heart/desire was just never there on a full time basis as it will have to be in the NFL.

Great point! Another one of O's recruits that was a great athelete who wasn't motivated.
