I wouldn't even call that luck for us. I would call it bye bye Les Miles.

When the pass was completed on the 4th & 26 they did not have a timeout left. They had to use the 2 timeouts they had left on the 2 sacks on 2nd & 3rd downs. LSU had to spike the ball. No timeouts leftwildthang80 wrote:Shoulda, woulda, coulda. We won thanks to the dumbest call ever made. AND they had a timeout. No. They DID spike it. They could have run a play and that would have stunned us even more. A smart veteran QB would have sized up the situation and called SOMETHING. If it works he's a hero...if it doesn't he still gets credit for having a brain.CentralArkHog wrote:When the pass was completed on the 4th & 26 they did not have a timeout left. Even still....how do you not have your FG team ready to be out on the field? And...how do you get in FG range and not keep running the ball inside to better your chances? Just unbelievable.rebelliousb wrote:No. They DID spike it. They could have run a play and that would have stunned us even more. Those were the biggest plays of the game for the rebels. The tfls that forced the long 4th down after the onside recovery.

Agree with all that. FG team should have been standing on the 25 when the play started...but when the QB see's one second and no kicker....badmotorfinger wrote:Even still....how do you not have your FG team ready to be out on the field? I agree. Still though, you know the LSU fans are livid right now. I can't wait to see the headlines tomorrow.

The numba 8 Tigahs have fallen. I just wish Peria would showed up to face plant George Jefferson one last time!
