So after I get back home from the game I hear of the Klans crap they pulled Sat. morning. Mr. Jones shoulda just ignorned this chant thing and been done with it. I understand where it could put people in a bad place but this is 2009, heck some of these kids dont know who the beetles are much less the KKK. My question is Ive heard several recruits didnt show because of the boys in the hoods, is any of this true? Im also wondering if by any chance these guys could of been tied to someone from State???????????????????? Just a thought?!?!?!?!?!?!

per Nutt's press conference Monday, only 4 recruits didn't show, though originally reported 8-10. Nutt said he is not worried about any impact on next year's class as the OM family showed how they feel about the motives and actions of the Klan. Likely the guys who didn't show will take official visits after the season.

I am not into conspiracy theories when it comes to some ulterior motive on the part of rival fans. It was 12 redneck POSs that had nothing better to do on a Saturday morning than spew hate; maybe some of them root for another school, maybe not, but regardless, that was not their motivation. I pity them and their narrow-minded way of thinking.

its just a shame that a couple of "rednecks" can paint such a bad picture on a school. I believe that Ole Miss has come a long way in all sports and have had great players, great coaches, great fans both black and white and other nationalites. Banning a song might not be right but chanting TSWRA might not be right either, but using the klan is not the way to solve a problem in 2009. I stand behind each student and fans that stood up and stood against them cowards, and to any recuits that might read this please dont let them sway you one way or another, Ole Miss is a great school on many different levels. I think any recruit that saw the video will be smiling. Our family kept the robe wearing idiots silent for the most part. If anything I really hope it helped the pereption of who OM really is.

here's the problem (if we REALLY REALLY want any of those recruits. They may visit next week or the next or the last day allowed...but they will NEVER visit on the day that was as electric as the VHS was when LSU came to town. The LAST time there was that much human electricity in the air, Eli and Co brought the goalposts down against FL. That's why it hurts.

done

Again...anyone who can't see that for what it was isn't smart enough to play for Ole Miss....let 'em go to Starkpatch.

How many times do we have to talk about how ridiculous "rankings" of recruiting classes are...particularly in November. I trust Nutt to get quality kids who will qualify and play hard for the Rebels. Except for Dexter, I don't see a dramatic difference between the O recruits and Nutt recruits on this team.

Scott, Bolden, Patterson, Grandy, the young linebackers, etc....I like what I see so far for actual results of his recruiting..versus November speculation.
