Congratulations ..................

Just wanted to stop by and say congratulations on getting to the Cotton Bowl two years in a row. You deserved the Cotton Bowl at the very least. Looks like we (Razorbacks) will be heading to the Liberty. This was a crazy year in football. I couldn't believe we lost to LSU or you guys to MSU, but such is SEC football. You guys are very similar to Arkansas in that Snead and Mallett both seem to fold under pressure. A lot of people blamed our kicker on the loss to LSU but Mallett was terrible the first half and didn't put the points on the board as we should have. Hopefully both quarterbacks will get it together and we can meet next year to decide who gets to play for the SEC championship. You guys are classy. Go SEC.
Thanks....that Liberty Bowl scoreboard make blow a fuse with you guys vs Houston....my prediction.....72-65! 8O
I agree with you that it could turn out like that. If our line can give Mallett time and our receivers don't drop the ball, he will pick Houston apart. I'm not sure if our defense can keep up with Houston though. I just hope it doesn't turn into an embarassment. The best part though is that any team playing in a bowl game gets another months extra practice that will show up the next year.Rebchuck18 wrote:Thanks....that Liberty Bowl scoreboard make blow a fuse with you guys vs Houston....my prediction.....72-65! 8O
I don't think Houston can stop you guys if Mallett is on...I have seen them play and I would imagine that Childs may set Liberty Bowl records...if he holds on to the dadgum ball!Hoggie wrote:I agree with you that it could turn out like that. welcome to the real reason the SEC is so strong...some folks say it is about Money... it isn't ...unless your on the outside of the SEC looking in (due to the fact that the SEC splits bowl monies and 9-10 teams will make bowls... all SEC teams recieve portions). The real reason for the SEC strength is the fact that now 9-10 teams in the SEC will get another Month or so of Spring Practice with a huge scrimmage (bowl game) at the end. Lets not let the rest of the NCAA in on this little tidbit. Shhhh! it can be our own little secret.Hoggie wrote:I agree with you that it could turn out like that. I hope that all the SEC teams dominate their opponent in the bowls this season. That is my Christmas wish for the SEC.

Houston may have the worst defense in the country, I saw it first hand. If we didn't hand them 3 unforced turnovers we would've won that game.
Case Keenum will throw 60 plus times and will do it efficiently, he is very impressive. It will definitely be a shootout, I hope your outside LB's and Safeties are ready to handle all kinds of screen plays.

Won't happen since Case and the Cougars couldn't topple the ECU Pirates.osucowboys34 wrote:Houston may have the worst defense in the country, I saw it first hand.
