Hey guys, congratulations on the Cotton Bowl Win. I was wondering if it was true that when McCluster made that long run for the first (I think it was the first) touchdown, did he really run out of the stadium down to Starbucks and get a cup of coffee and make it back to the sidelines before Ole Miss kicked the extra point. Just kidding of course but that guy has to be one of the fastest running backs I have ever seen and love to see him run.

Regardless of how pretty or not pretty it was, you still put a win in the box for Ole Miss and the SEC. We were lucky to win the Liberty Bowl and if not for ECU's field goal kicker the game would have never made it to overtime. Like you guys with Snead, I hope Petrino gives our other two quarterbacks a chance at starting next year and at least make Mallett think a little bit about his arrogance and maybe learning to hit the receivers in the chest instead of over their heads or on the ground. Like Snead, give Mallett time and he is great but pressure him and he falls apart. Everyone is saying that Arkansas will compete for the SEC West next year but personally, I think we will be much the same as this year. At the same time, many are saying that Ole Miss is going to be a lot flatter next year and again, I disagree and believe Ole Miss may drop one or two games from the win column but they will still be a good team. Here's hoping for a good recruiting season for both teams and great 2010 football season.

Thanks man. Great post. I think the Hogs will only get better. Mallet needs another year in the system and he will be fine. Arkansas played the best team that CUSA had to offer and winning that game meant everything to them. Its tough when you take a team's best shot, look at us in the EGG Bowl. But I was proud of UA for hanging in and getting the win. Lord knows the SEC needed it this year.
