per DB blog

RB/LB Tim Simon has been at almost all of the workouts this spring, hanging out on the sidelines while talking with teammates and coaches. Simon suffered a very serious knee injury against South Carolina in the fall and missed the rest of the season. He’s had two surgeries, one to fix ligament damage and another one to try and repair some nerve damage. UM coach Houston Nutt said he’s cautiously optimistic that Simon will play again – but there’s no certainty here. I wouldn’t expect much from him until 2011 though.

I really hope he can make it back. Tim is truly a good young man and i wish the best for him. Praying for a full recovery.

Really hate it for the kid. Everybody raved about him as a person and player, and it sucks that it happened to a kid that did everything right.
