I'm really liking the way Clarence Jackson is looking. We've had plenty of freshmen crack the depth chart before, but it is a bit rare at the linebacker spot. We have a highly rated linebacker corps this year and yet you have this extremely athletic kid pushing the big guys. I sense a great one in the making. A potential new Rebel legend. I've heard (tongue-in-cheek) that there was a pretty good linebacker come through Ole Miss a few years back... Time will tell but Mr. Jackson could be a future Butkus winner with a couple years under his belt.

The future is definitely bright. Quality depth is a wonderful thing!

He must be really special if they are talking about significant playing time for a Freshman, at Linebacker, at an SEC school. Freshmen just usually are not physically ready to play that position.

And it is a year where everyone is rating our returning linebacker corps highly.
