Oher and "The Blind Side" question
Moderator: Rebel Security
Not that this really matters but I first read a while back that Michael Oher refused to see the movie because of the liberties the director/producers took with the facts set forth in the book. Then a couple of days ago in an new publication called "Game Time: Rebels" said he saw it within a couple of days of it being released. So, what's the truth?
I heard that he saw it and was upset at the changes to actual events made to hollywoodize it.TheUnsub wrote:Not that this really matters but I first read a while back that Michael Oher refused to see the movie because of the liberties the director/producers took with the facts set forth in the book. You mean like the coach coming off as a middle school coach and showing how Sandra Bullock taught MO how to play football. Really I haven't got to read the book, but I have coached high school football and I was appalled at how worthless they made his coach look.
His coach came across as the equivalent of Barney Fife with a whistle and a clipboard.
