We just supplied plenty of it for our next opponent. Now they will not come into the game feeling out talented or out of their league. By golly, if JSU could...
They will be plenty motivated. Hope we are, we sure weren't today.
Darn it, I am SUNBURNED on one side. For nothing! No, not for nothing. So that I can be sunburned on one side, and disgusted on the other. Man, I just wanna SCREAM!
Gotta pull behind the team, but I am p.... off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Motivation.

It'll be interesting to see how the team responds to this.
Rule #1.......Don't panik
If we don't come out next week, punch Tulane in the throat, then hold them down and keep punching them, we could be in for a season of Orgeron-esque proportions.

I'm with you. Bad fan or not, I've got my countdown at 365 til next season.rewalters wrote:You know, for the first time in my history with Ole Miss, I really don't care how they come out next week.
Pathetic I know, but that is the way I feel right now.

Shoot, I'm not worried how they respond, I'm worried that a true first time freshman qb carved up our defense like it was a turkey. This is a loss of epic proportions.
We got outcoached today. And we suffered the most embarassing loss in my life time. Puzzling all around today. Everything about it after halftime was baffling. JSU is a good team. Credit them.
Foward Rebels! March to Fame!
No offense, but we ALREADY thought we could beat you next week. This just gives us extra confidence.BobReb wrote:We just supplied plenty of it for our next opponent. Now they will not come into the game feeling out talented or out of their league. By golly, if JSU could...

If it helps you any, I was watching on TV and pulling for ya'll by overtime. And don't get TOO disheartened. The year Michigan lost to App St they ended up winning 9 games. That said, they got skunked in week 2. I hope that both halves come true.
See you next week. Hope you enjoy your visit (besides the superdome)
Hate to say it tulane fan but you would have had a better chance had we actually won yesterday because now these guys are more then likely going to be *beep* and hate to say it but tulanes starters couldn't be 2nd teamers on a sec team. Now, with that being said i will say this, if our team hangs our heads and doesn't come out motivated then yeah you'll win, and head hunters will be coming out of the wood work.
Tulane starters couldnt be 2nd team in the SEC? That is true for many of them, but far from all of them. Do you have any idea how many Tulane players are in the NFL right now? More than you'd think. Heck, Jeremy Williams just ran a pint return for 93 yards the night before last. Forte? Shaun King? Patrick Ramsey? Andre Anderson? Don't get me wrong, the SEC has a LOT more talent, but sometimes I think ya'll imagine yourselves in some kind of bubble that is quite ridiculous. Did yesterday not prove ANYthing? I once had a LSU fan try to tell me that Boise State would come in dead last in the SEC. Would they be undefeated, no way in heck. But LAST? Really?!?! The SEC may well be the best conference in the country. But it isn't on some special planet either.jrebel87 wrote:Hate to say it tulane fan but you would have had a better chance had we actually won yesterday because now these guys are more then likely going to be *beep* and hate to say it but tulanes starters couldn't be 2nd teamers on a sec team. Until you can come up with some kind of pass rush, I wouldn't get too cocky about next weekend. Just my opinion.
