We lose another one and once again the hitting was atrocious. We did have 2 HRs, but not much more. These boys are not very patient at the plate. I know I watched 3 batters in a row swing at the first pitch. The UGA pitcher threw 4 pitches in the 1st inning, and had only thrown 6 with one out in the 2nd. There is something going wrong with the preparation/coaching of these boys.

It looks like the attendance may be suffering some also. The stands looked to be less than 50% full, although the outfields were full and they said there was about 9100 there. I was just thinking on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, there should have been well over 10K there. Just my opinion.

Was going to head to the Sunday game. Hoping for a chance to see a sweep or a good swing game. But this wasn't what I wanted to see at all. Will have to check on what my other options for a Sunday are now.

I promise you, we will survive. Its a bunch of kids playing ball, dont let them dictate your lives.

Also remember that we just crowned a national champ in basketball that finished 9th in their conference. This isn't football where the regular season really matters. If you get hot enough to just get into post season and then stay hot you got a shot. And there is no sport on earth more streaky than baseball. So in the classic words of MPFC we're "not dead yet".

Yeah but were right on the verge of being "dead". You have to remember that this problem stretches back into the end of last season as well. The end of last season combined with this season means weve lost the past 6 out of 7 sec baseball series. Weve lose our last 3 out of 4 at home. We aren't playing with any energy and its pathetic.

Not saying that we don't suck. Just saying that if there is any sport where kids can catch on fire it is baseball. But if we don't heat up then it is safe to say that..yes..our season is in..peril!

I blame that d*** bear! 8)
