Go BIG or dont go at all, I would give Butch Davis, Mike Gundy, June Jones, and Kevin Sumlin all calls and make em tell me no. Who would think Spurrier would be at SC about 10 years ago.
What has Kirby Smart done? Proven himself for 12 years as an assistant coach. studied under Nick Saban and Bobby Bowden. Been part of a national championship. Coaches the top defense in the nation year after year.

Well, there's that. . . . .

If someone else names Leach in a possible head coach list, I'm going to question whether they are a true Ole Miss fan.

the right players+ the right coaches+the right game plan + the right playing calling = success

of course it would work! we just dont have the right tools now

RE Jon Gruden he's not interested, but Jay might be. However what he done? won the SB with Tampa Bay and made millions, but hey why we would want such a failure? Lets get the FB a$$clown instead.

Would love to have Gundy, but the idea that we could out bid OkSt is laughable

I have been listening to the Tim Brando show and he stated that no quality or reputable coach will be interested in the Ole Miss Head Coaching job as long as the Current AD is still in place.

My first post here but it hurts my heart to see what Ole Miss has been infected with.

I am an Arkansas State grad and fan. My daughter is a freshman at Ole Miss and a Rebelette. I have been to both games so far this year. With that being said I have been haunted by the Nutt family for close to 20 years. Dickey and Dennis pushed ASU basketball back to the dark ages and now Houston and Danny (I suppose he's hanging around somewhere) have ruined Ole Miss football.

They are like used car saleman, televangelist, or gypsies.

I hope Ole Miss does the right thing & gets rid of him soon. His brother Dickey became close to a couple of boosters here in Jonesboro who protected him and when his contract was up they gave him a three year extension and a REDUCTION in salary. He acted like he had just won the NCAA tournament.

Give Ole Miss a vasectomy and cut the Nutt.

I think Houston has just had no luck finding a QB. That is the problem, along with a poor defensive scheme. He never signs a top notch 4 star or 5 star QB. We have 2 transfers from Community College & one transfer from West Va.

We have won with Eli & a highly rated Texas transfer(2 Cotton Bowls). Since then we have had no really good QB.

You can not win in the SEC without a very good QB & a very good defence. We have neither right now.

Isn't Kent Austin a successful HC in Canada? I'm not saying that guarantees anything in the SEC but our offense was way better when he was here.

Heard a Mark Stoops rumor again recently.

Kent Austin had success in Canada, however he is currently at Cornell (which I guess might as well be Canada). He was 2-8 last year equalling Jim Knowles record before he left to be DC for Duke. I guess you can say he is successful. Cornell is 1-0 so far this year. The offense was better when he was at Ole Miss. Not sure how much he had to do with that. I'd like to think a lot. Of course Nutt still called the plays.
