Every single news source I have read today has made comments such as what commercial appeal said: " The only highlight the rebels will have for the rest of the year is just having a lead in game" and what every other news source said: " The rebels were just boys playing against men" and "they just aren't good enough to compete with the good sec teams." Apathy is the most embarrassing thing for someone to have for you........We gave up 615 yards yesterday, 125 of those to their 3rd string rb. After our first drive of the game, we gained minus 3 yards until the third quarter.

Yea, its tough hearing those kinds of things. I hear in day in/day out at work. Living in Baton Rouge is very tough for me being an Ole Miss fan. I catch hell every year about how bad we are and we just wont ever compete in the SEC. Now, most of the time its joking around with friends/co-workers, but deep down, they truly believe that. It's very hard to disagree with them, or at least, have a good comeback when, as much as I hate to say it, what they say is true. I do believe we CAN compete and be a force in the SEC with the right leadership, but until then, I have to live in misery. Its hard to keep making excuses year after year.

He!!, I would venture to say that we cannot compete with ANY SEC team right now, much less the good ones!

When will someone swallow their pride and admit that they've made a very expensive mistake? We went through a great deal of pain w/ Ogeron, but he obviously started from scratch and then succeeded in attracting NFL caliber talent. Honestly, I thought we were headed in the right direction. I figured that talented players would attract more talented players and those talented players would eventually find a way to win - regardless of who was coaching. But some folks thought that 2-3 years was enough to turn this ship around so they went on to hire a career underachiever at 3x the price.

O was great at recruiting and he made his players really tough too but he just didnt have the iq needed to be an HC. If we still had him for DC and had a Patrino or Sabin as HC we'd be unbeatable

I dont think he made his players tough, I think he burned them out with his rah rah crap but he could recruit...however if you believe the so called recruiting rankings, Nutt has recruited pretty much as well as Orgeron, he just can't develop and his absolute inability to recruit, evaluate, coach or even communicate as it relates to the quarterback position will doom us for as long as he is allowed to stay.

Yeah but we always had the 60's. I for one am sick and tired of this BS. First they take away our songs then our mascot, but yet they leave us with BS coaches, and I'm referring to Nix also. We are spending to much money,He!! yeah I mean we, to only get something BELOW mediocrity. It seems these "boys" as they call them were part of top 25 recruiting classes for several years now. Therefore it must be problems with the coaches. Flame me all you want to but I am sick of it.

You just proved that Nutt can't develop talent. Houston Nutt has the ability to touch Gold and instantly turn it into SHlT!

There is more to the Atlanta story than most know.
