We keep it close in the first half and make some plays.....but eventually their passing game wears us down

31-7. Ole Miss has to have a lead after the first quarter to stay involved mentally/emotionally. Nutt will have some tricks this week. Shouldn't be enough though.

After struggling horribly against the top rush defense in the nation without their top rusher, Ole Miss welcomes the 95th rush defense in the nation with their top rusher healthy and finally able to significantly contribute. And while Arkansas faces an even worse rush defense (these are the SECs two worst against the run), their top runner will not be available to take advantage of that weakness. Ole Miss has a decent pass defense when it doesn't have to worry too much about the rush, but they aren't Alabama so Arkansas will be able to put up their usual gaudy pass numbers. This game will be closer than most are predicting.

Because of arkys defense, we may look better than we actually are in this game. We may even score 20.....but unlike us Arky has an SEC quarterback, so they may hang another half a hundred on us.
