Saw on another board and on twitter that Boone will be at the presser tomorrow. Could this be true and, if so, what could it mean?

I searched twitter in every conceivable word combo, and I found nothing of the sort.

Same thing it meant a few weeks ago: nothing.

The AD does not belong at a football press conference as an active participant unless he is announcing that a coach has been let go or announcing that he has hired a new coach. Boone's participation in the press conference earlier in the year was out of place. The football coach is the face of your football team until you decide he is not getting the job done and you have to let him go.
