I sat in Section R and was surrounded by LSU tiger fans more so than any other time. They came into the stadium, sat nervously and quietly untill the uniformed players were on the field and their band played some of that ridiculous Geaux Tiger crap. I saw so many LSU fans at VH Stadium and that is understandible but so, so sad to see that much yellow and grape clothing was horrible.
When our players came out to warm up, they looked like loosers just fulfilling minimum attendance requirements to keep that scholly. We honored 9 seniors that were leaving or graduating. We should be (as Ron White would say) L O O O A A A D D D E DDDDDD for next year but I am totally blank when that question needs answered about who or what still represents Ole Miss Football.
The scoreboard "Are you Ready", the National Anthem so beautifully sung by an Ole Miss Lady, and the F-18 Jets flying over at night set the atmosphere level high enough to reward me for my long drive, but then the S--- hit the fan.
28 seconds into the game and it was over. I mean it was all over. The game was decided because of the play on the field and the turmoil off the field, but more bothersome, it felt like the whole spirit, that I know as Ole Miss, left the arena with a whoosh louder than the low flying jets moments before. I saw people leaving to go to the grove or home or elsewhere. I was shocked, but before halftime I had left the stadium also. It was the first time since 1958 I had ever left an Ole Miss game prior to the Half.
What can be asked

Is the Grove party more important than the Stadium responsibilities of cheering for the team?
Are we recruiting players that will go to the mat for Ole Miss and the team or are they the kind of kids that do not care about
Tradition, rules, respect and Honor?
Can coaches really control and DISCIPLINE players to adhere to the important values needed to be successful and honorable?
Do we have enough players on board to lead the others in the right direction?
I know those are just a few questions but from what I heard others speak about, all teams have a few rotten apples in the their barrel too, but Ole Miss has way to many players that worry about Booze, garden tool's, video games, and Chillin' than they do about Pride, Sacrifice, Tradition, and Ole Miss. I am very discouraged, but still, Go To Hell L S U.
