Because in spite of what some say he grew up loving ole miss and still does. His entire family graduated from ole miss
He made a difficult decision that was the right one to make at the time he had to make it. I don't know how anyone who has children would have a serious issue with peyton or Archie about that.
Remember when Peyton was entering school, OM was on probation, no tv and no bowl games for 2 years. Not good for future nfl plans, at the time. He grew up in Louisiana and did not go to LSU.
Peyton made the right choice then for sure. THe haters should still be ashamed of themselves. It was OM's fault for not putting the $$ into a good football program

he loved our University that much. So Maybe just Maybe he will come back
