I have decided that if Coach Freeze is going to be our coach I need to get behind him. After seeing the video he made at ASU I know he is a godly christian man and I for one am not going to doubt the abilities of a man who has godly convictions and is passionate about his sport. If he is half of what he claims to be we will be in good hands... I am interested in seeing what he can do for Ole Miss.

I am officially on board for the Freeze Era.

That is all I can do.

Since you brought it up, did you see the scripture he refered to in making his decision, Jeremiah 29 11-14, WOW!

Agreed Hagar!!! It doesn't matter now who we coulda/shoulda got for our next HC. I'm behind him. He's obviously a good motivator and a decent offensive mind. Lets see what he can do if he's able to fill his staff with some quality assistants!!

It sure is more fun being on board than not. I'm gettin ok with this now. I guess my thinking was going in such a different direction that this caught me off guard. Now Coach Freeze is here. Time to talk recruiting. How we doin as of ten min from now?

Exactly what I thought when I read it! With a faith like that, I hope it carries over to the team and program. Little less experienced, but maybe the next Mark Reicht is arriving in Oxford today at 2 p.m. 8)

As Hagar said, I'm all in for the Freeze era..........regardless of who I wanted...

Has done an amazing job at ASU. I am not sure if this is the best hire possible but I know OM could've done a lot worse.

Sorry can't ignore the shortcomings of this hire... hope I am wrong, but doubt very seriously that I am especially when I see Orgeron's staff and influences creeping back in. And I am not buying that this is an Ole Miss guy at all (which wouldn't bother me if he were qualified). This is Glenn's pick and money talks....

But I will not interfere with the love fest, so I will refrain from posting on football for a long while...

Where is everyone getting that it's Glenn's pick? Glenn was high on Fedora - Fedora didn't want to come to Ole Miss. I am hearing he will take Kansas, but wants Texas A&M desperately.

Thanks Hagar, you are right that was an awesome video. I think just that fire alone will motivate a win or two, and if he can coach a little bit too ... we might be ok.

I want to make one thing clear.....my displeasure with this has nothing to do with Hugh Freeze the man. I am glad he is a Christian and I hope he puts our boys back into suits for the walk through and takes them to a barber shop.
