Where in my post did I say fire Mike? Again, LEARN TO READ. The reason we went to the supers was because of Dan, make no mistake about that. And this great class we have coming in now is because of Lafferty. Mike micro manages too much, that's no secert. We have both more tradition, and more backing of the administration for baseball than basketball, so MB and AK should be judged differently. We should win faster in baseball than basketball.

Why do you think I'm talking about you every time I post? One person in this thread said we should get rid of Bianco, and it wasn't you. You've definitely been negative about Bianco. I don't get why Bianco doesn't get a pass with his postseason record, but Kennedy does with NO postseason record.

Sorry about that, thought u was, anyway, I give AK more slack because of what he doesn't have to work with. Don't get me wrong, Bianco has brought Ole Miss baseball back from the dead. It's just I question if he can take us to that next level. He micro manages WAY too much. And herefuses to change, even if the game changes. If AK doesn't get us dancing next year, and no excuses like major injuries or something, then u will hear me saying it's time for new blood. HOTTY TODDY lewindha

People...calm down. It was the first SEC weekend. Sure, it was a team that we could/should have easily took 2 of 3 from, if not swept, but we didn't. Saturday we made 5 errors in 1 inning. 5!!! Sunday could have went either way. As Rebel fans, if Bianco would have taken Mayers out after pitching AWESOME for 8 innings and Huber possibly blowing the save, it would have been completely the other way around. "Why the **** did he take Mayers out?!!!"

My main point is its early in the season. We have a GREAT group of players that are only going to get better as the season goes on, especially the pitchers. Remember, none of these starters pitched in the rotation last year so they're still learning themselves. Its going to be alright.

As for Bianco...He's one of the better coaches in the SEC IMO. I don't care what anyone says about him, the guy can coach and recruit. Yea, he makes decisions we all don't agree on sometimes, which I might add ALL coaches do(Torre used to have me livid with the Yankees). I agree its time for us to make a trip to Omaha, probably overdue, but its going to happen. He's always gotten us in regionals, minus a couple years, but its bound to happen.

Once again, I like this team a lot. They are young, but hungry. I could be wrong, but this could be a good year to be a Rebel.

I am not saying that the sky is falling or anything, but it is pretty sad that we only scored 8 runs ALL weekend. :x  And you guys know that Auburn definitely does NOT have the best pitching staff we will face all season. I mean, if we could have hit their #3 starter better, and scored 2 more runs on Sunday, then we would not be talking about the bad decision Bianco made or didn't make. This weekend, the bats did not help the pitching at all! Bottom line is: we gotta get guys across homeplate, especially against average SEC pitching, if we plan to host a regional! :!: :!:

Agreed, we need runs. I'm still going to say we're going to be OK. This team can hit.
