We led this game 2-0 and then 4-2 going into the bottom of the 8th. We put our best closer, bret huber in. Anyone want to guess what happened? The inning isn't over yet..and Uga has scored 5 and leads 7-4. We blew another one. This will put us at 6-7 in the sec. I stand by my statement that although talented, this team isn't good enough yet. I will edit this post if we come back and win but i won't hold my breath.

Note: we did not come back and win this game. We lost the game on a strikeout. Mediocrity.

Yeah it did. I was really surprised that Huber was so horrible tonight. Huber has had some bad moments this year so far. Granted , he has had some good moments, but we have now lost 3 games that he has blown after coming in to close. We just don't have consistent depth at the position. Were up against the ropes now. If we don't come back and win this series we will have lost 3 out of 5 sec series this season. We are by no means a "lock" for Hoover, we have to start playing better.

Another classic Ole Miss baseball moment brought to us by Mike Bianco. Thanks coach. Whats that tweet again? Oh yeah, its #Omaha2012. Time to hold him to his word.

Bianco leaves a pitcher in too long its his fault. He pulls a struggling pitcher to put in the stud closer who blows it its also Bianco's fault. The Bianco critics are a joke. If you don't like him that's fine. But everything that happens can't be his fault. The athletes must be held accountable too. This devil Bianco that you speak of built the "greatest atmosphere in college baseball."

This teams M.O. is leaving RISP with either
Zero or one out. And that will never HELP
The fact we have no bullpen, Huber does not
Have the same stuff as a freshman! My only
Deal with bianco is how, we have no depth
In the bullpen, just one or two lefties, and
It's hurting us! I know they are young, be we
Should have a selection like Florida has!

Can't argue with that. But also seriously doubt we can find better. He's a good coach. Just needs to get over the hump. Somehow.

He has had how many years? This hump must be the size of Mt. Everest. He doesn't help himself by poor decisions during the game, and I'm not talking about pitching.
